Recently, I’ve been meeting people that feel like mirrors.

The kind of people that force you to stop…

And really think about who you are and what you’re made of.

For the longest time, I saw life through a very numbers based lens.

Money, body fat, assets, status.

All that mindfulness, breathwork, “heal your trauma” talk?

I used to think it was bullshit.

I’ve always been militant with my self improvement.

You either do the work or not.

You’re either broke or rich. Fat or fit.

Winning or losing. No inbetween.

But I’ve grown to learn conquering your mind might be the only improvement that truly matters

That might sound privileged to say but I can only speak from experience.

And from experience, there’s no better feeling than seeing yourself clearly.

No mask, no bravado and realising what actually needs fixing.

Not your income.

Not your physique.

Your mindset.

The voice in your head that criticises you.

The patterns that make you sabotage success.

The emotional spikes when things go wrong.

The trauma responses you picked up as a kid.

That’s the real enemy.

A lot of us had childhoods that left invisible scars.

And it’s not always our parents’ fault they were doing the best they could with what they knew.

But it’s on you now to work through it.

To break the cycle and grow.

So your future family, your wife and kids don’t inherit the same wounds.

Stop masking it all behind “I just need to get rich.”

Yes, you probably will get rich.

But that alone won’t get you far on the fulfilment scale.

So look in the mirror this week.

Accept what’s broken.

And do the real work to rebuild from the inside out.
